A Serious Man
The filmmaker duo The Coen Brothers step away from the flashy Hollywood film business to make an original and fantastic low budget movie, A Serious Man. The film does not go for the regular Coen Brother standard of movies packed with star, but make one full of nobodies (no offense to the cast). It was one of the most beautifully written and directed movies I have seen in a long time, using truly drab characters to portray the life of a man who is falling apart in every way possible. It is a little slow at times, but it will truly make you see that when someone goes Hollywood, they can go back.
My Review: A-
