Taking Woodstock
The title is pretty much self-explanatory. It was about the creation of Woodstock. The movie stars some of my favorite stars, like Demitri Martin, Live Schrieber and Emile Hirsch. The best part of it is that you learn more about what happened behind the concert. Through the entire movie, you never actually hear or see the concert itself. From the young main characters parent issues to his LSD fueled trippy experience on the top of the Woodstock hill, you will never see the famous music festival in the same way again. Everything is great except for Ang Lee’s gay undertone of the main character that really isn’t needed at all.
My review- B+
